Aircraft Inspection Authority Officers
All microlight aircraft are required to have an annual condition inspection. The inspection is an independent review of your aircraft's physical airworthiness and involves an examination of all critical aspects of the aircraft - just the same as a Warrant of Fitness on a car. Additionally, the inspector will check to ensure the aircraft is in compliance with all relevant airworthiness directives and as an owner, you have complied with your obligations to the airworthiness of the aircraft too. Please contact our inspectors directly to arrange your annual inspection. Alternatively, any CAA-licenced Aircraft Engineer (LAME) can conduct these inspections too
If you have a background in aircraft engineering or are interested in becoming a Microlight Aircraft Inspection Authority holder we would love to hear from you and have your expertise on board! You can apply online using our online form and submit the form via our eReturn Page
