Changes to our service
Dear Customer and Friends
As participants in the New Zealand aviation industry, we like aircraft owners and pilots over the past couple of years have been faced with increasing regulatory and operating costs. While SAC carries out a number of traditional fucntions of CAA on its behalf under our Part 149 Certificate, we do not recive any funding from the CAA to do this. Just as you pay to register your aircraft or hold a licence, we pay to hold our certificates from the CAA that allow us to issue your microlight certificates.
Unfortunately the time has come where we need to pass these costs on with our first price increase in over four years. Below is a summary of our new costs. These increases ensure we can continue to maintain the current level of service in terms of keeping our office manned to process your applications and general queries in a prompt manner while maintaining our great relationship with CAA to ensure microlight operators in NZ are blessed with some fairly accommodating requirements
